Troy has been involved in Racing ever since his father entered him in a Soap Derby Race. The fire of racing was right in Troy’s heart ever since and has developed a life in racing, both as a driver and a team owner.
In 2004 Jose Sabates recommended Troy an opportunity to assist team Telmex develop race car drivers from Mexico and to be involved in the Diversity Program. With the beginning of this effort Troy began to transform his talents from driver to Trainer and Team Owner.
In 2005, with continued support from Jimmy Morales director of Escuderia Telmex from Mexico and whole hearted endorsement form NASCAR’s Busch East Director of Racing. Troy immersed himself deeply in the NASCAR Diversity program helping the development of Ruben and Carlos Pardo and Rogelio Lopez.
Troy Williams MotorSports will race the Busch East schedule in 2007 with Driver German Quiroga, who also is part of Jimmy Morales team in Mexico. Additionally TW plans to join the Busch Grand National Series part time for 2008. This effort will help him move to the Busch Grand National Series full time by 2009. TW would like to see himself as the Steve Jobs of Racing where Steve started Apple computers from a Garage as did Troy with his racing cars . All it takes is to believe in yourself and work with the up-most integrity and of course, the sponsors to trust in your vision.
